Trip Report - November 2018

By Christopher Daniel

After finishing up my second visit down south to El Encuentro I realized I fell in love with Argentina even more. The culture, the food, my amazing family made up of all the staff at El Encuentro Fly Fishing Lodge and of course, we can't forget about the fish.

I got to visit a few new waters during this trip which consisted of everything from new lakes down in the Rio Pico region, tiny mountain streams that held the most feisty and beautiful little 12-inch rainbows and browns to easily the most beautiful lake I have ever laid eyes on that was carved by glaciers thousands of years ago.

The accommodations at the lodge are top notch with guides and staff to match and of course, Pinky's food is out of this world. If you are looking for the best fishing experience in Argentina, look no further than El Encuentro!
