Nicky was born in Buenos Aires but fortunately for all of us, eventually found his way to Patagonia. He now lives with his family in nearby El Bolson, when he is not guiding.

Nicky brings vast experience to the El Encuentro team. He has guided in many remote places from Kamchatka and Tasmania to the Amazon and Bolivia. He has also guided in other locations in Patagonia, including Arroyo Claro, Estancia Laguna Verde, and Rio Manso. Nicky’s quiet demeanor belies his wealth of knowledge, and his joy in sharing all his knowledge with his El Encuentro clients. He is an excellent teacher and a good listener. He has a subtle sense of humor and has great stories to share!

When not guiding, he really enjoys playing basketball.
