Luciano “Lucho” Saldise is a fly fishing guide with almost 15 years of experience across some of the world’s most renowned destinations. Born and raised in El Bolsón, in the heart of Argentine Patagonia, he grew up in a fishing family and among trout rivers that shaped his lifelong passion.

Since his teenage years, he has been tying and selling flies, and in 2008 he earned his Professional Fly Fishing Guide certification for Los Alerces National Park and the province of Chubut. Throughout his career, he has guided in places as diverse as Iceland, Seychelles, Russia, Chile, Bolivia, and different regions of Patagonia, building a solid reputation in trout, salmon, and exotic species fishing in remote destinations.

His career combines technical skill, a deep understanding of the environment, and a genuine passion for sharing the fishing experience with both beginners and seasoned anglers.
