Jurassic Lake Lodge
Strobel Area • Santa Cruz, Patagonia
Through our exclusive partnership with Jurassic Lake Lodge, we invite you to discover two of Patagonia's most distinctive fly fishing regions in one seamless journey. This unique collaboration combines the diverse waters of Chubut Province in Central Patagonia with the legendary trophy rainbow trout fishery of Santa Cruz in Southern Patagonia.
Connecting both destinations is a private charter flight operated by DOSOM Air aboard a Cessna Grand Caravan, accommodating up to eight guests. In just two hours, this flight replaces an otherwise lengthy overland transfer, offering amazing aerial views of Patagonia's mountains, lakes, and vast wilderness. With executive-level comfort and the versatility to access remote airstrips, it is the fastest, most convenient, and most enjoyable way to maximize your time on the water.
Jurassic Lake Lodge is located on the shores of Lake Strobel in the remote province of Santa Cruz. It is the original fly fishing lodge on this world-famous fishery and has become internationally recognized as one of the finest trophy rainbow trout destinations on Earth.
The lodge sits just steps from the mouth of the Barrancoso River, the lake's only major tributary, where enormous concentrations of rainbow trout gather throughout the season. This unique location provides immediate access to the most productive water in the entire fishery.
The lodge accommodates up to 12 anglers in comfortable single or double occupancy rooms, each with a private bathroom. Guests enjoy panoramic views overlooking Lake Strobel and the Barrancoso River, outstanding Argentine cuisine, Patagonian lamb, carefully selected local wines, satellite internet and a welcoming atmosphere after unforgettable days on the water.
