Fall Fishing Report

It was a busy 2015/2016 season at El Encuentro, but it finished strong—we had some wonderful fishing in late March, with beautiful days in the 70s and some really nice fish caught by our guests including some rainbows reaching over ten pounds! The water was low after a dry summer, but overall the conditions held up nicely.

We also began our bird hunting program, with six excellent German shorthairs from the top kennel in Argentina on point (literally and figuratively). Past guests had commented about the large numbers of quail in some of our regions, and so we're excited to be able to start sharing this exciting sport with our friends who enjoy great wild bird wingshooting.

We're going to take a little rest and relaxation time, and then begin planning for the 2016/2017 season. Many of our past guests have rebooked their preferred dates, do contact us soon to check availability for your own trip, and saludos to you!
