Bill Bryan
Raised in Maine and New England, Bill graduated from the University of New Hampshire in Biology where he also developed his leadership skills. Bill received his PhD from the University of Michigan in Resource Planning and Social Change. His post-doctorate work brought him to Montana in 1972 where he created an organizational development non-profit firm. Bill helped start or reorganize well over a dozen cause-oriented groups in the Rockies and Alaska. Later, he successfully used his organizational development skills with over 5 national entities.
A long-time “futurist” in everything Bill has done personally and professionally, he co-founded Off the Beaten Path in 1985. It started as a custom travel planning company working along the cordillera of the Western Hemisphere. As a devoted fly fisherman, Bill discovered El Encuentro and has been consulting with them ever since. Now working with EEFF, he is helping them evolve from a mom-and-pop entity into a business. Bill is still doing organizational development work in Montana where he developed and is coaching a rural community organization where an underground copper mine has been proposed. Bill is also helping one of the colleges at Montana State University in organizational development and future planning.
